The board of directors for the sports teams that Sporting Club IOM owns will always include two member representatives from Sporting Club IOM as Non-Executive Directors to ensure the team is being run in-line with Club’s stated ethos, aims and objectives.

We also propose that a representative from the relevant sport’s governing body will be a member of the operating entity’s board of directors. This structure promotes the highest standards of sporting governance between Sporting Club Isle of Man, its members and wider stakeholders.

An executive committee will be responsible for running the underlying operating sports team on a day to day basis and they will report directly to their board of directors. This board, which will never be more than 12 people, will oversee the sports team’s governance and practices.
